My favorite part about the Holidays is how cozy and decorated my home gets. Growing up in a very Danish household, I learned at a young age that this cozy feeling can actually stick around all year! It's called 'hygge' and we are going to break it down. Hygge (hoo-gah) is a Danish word about coziness and surrounding yourself with the things that make life good. Kind of like a hug..hug-ah. 😉 It has no direct translation because it's more of feeling.
If you’re like me, pets are a part of the family. I am a crazy dog mom and wanted to make sure our dog, Queso, was just as prepared as I was to welcome a new baby to the home. Even though every dog is different, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try easing Queso into his new life with a baby sister anyway I could!
