Mama Feature: Kiana

Mama Feature: Kiana

This month we are featuring one of our Brand Ambassadors, Kiana! She is currently pregnant with a little girl and chasing around a one year old named Kainoa. Her and her family live in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she stays home full time. Read more below to get to know Kiana!

Favorite Mommy/Maternity Product:

I’m not the biggest fan of maternity clothes, but nothing beats maternity leggings for pregnancy and even postpartum! I also can’t live without my belly band for round ligament and back pain.

This is probably cliche but I love getting a chai latte from my favorite local coffee spot and walking around TJ Maxx or Target by myself. But in typical fashion, most of the time I find something for Kainoa and nothing for myself!

Favorite Baby Product:

A baby carrier! Kainoa had severe reflux as a newborn so laying him down was nearly impossible. He practically lived in the carrier for the first few months so I could have my hands free!

A couple more questions...

Tell us what you are looking most forward to when your baby girl arrives?

I get emotional just thinking about Kainoa becoming a big brother! I’m going to focus on soaking up the precious newborn phase, because it really does go by quickly while you’re in survival mode!

What traditions or activities are you most excited to do with the Kainoa this Spring?

He recently started swim lessons and I can’t wait for outdoor water activities! I grew up in Hawaii, so my dream is to take a beach trip every year and for my kids to love the ocean too. We went to San Diego last summer and we will be going again in May, pending my doctor’s approval to travel!

What is the first thing you do when you put Kainoa down for sleep?

My husband and I chat while we clean up dinner and then I enjoy something sweet while catching up on the TikTok’s my best friend sends during the day! Our boys are only a week apart so they usually have something to do with being a toddler mom!

Share some advice for all the mamas out there!

I felt so pressured to do certain things a certain way at the beginning, but they didn’t work for us and that’s OKAY! You are the best parent for your baby! Take other people’s suggestions with a grain of salt because at the end of the day, nobody knows your baby the way you do.
