What do you currently do for work (aside from being an amazing mama)?
I am a team leader at a health and welfare fund. We have been working from home since March of 2020, so I have been working full time from home the past two years raising my sweet boys which I love so, so much and am so grateful for! Being able to work from home I get the best of both worlds without having to miss out on anything :) I am busy, and it gets crazy over here, but it is so worth it!
Favorite Mama/Maternity Product:
Bio oil! It always helped keep my skin so moisturized during both pregnancies. I also loved having a belly wrap at the end to ease back pain.
Favorite Baby Product:
The Doona Stroller! Best investment ever and so worth it.
Favorite Way to Have a Little "Me-Time":
Work out, go outside, get my favorite coffee, get myself ready, take pictures of my boys (lol).
A couple more questions...
How has life changed from having one kiddo to now having two?
It’s just made life happier for me. My kids are my world and I was so happy to give my boy a baby brother/best friend. I didn’t think the adjustment from 1-2 was a challenge at all compared to no kids to 1. I learned so much with my first, but I continue to learn more every day as a mama. I know how fast these times fly by, so even through the harder/challenging times, I remind myself that one day I will miss this. So I try my hardest to soak in every moment!
What traditions or activities are you most excited to do with Bryce and Logan this Summer?
I am so excited to take them to parks, on walks, go swimming. Basically anything that involves the outdoors. My oldest loves all holidays, so I try and go all out for every one for him. We usually bake and decorate together while listening to music and dancing around the house.
What is the first thing you do when you put Bryce and Logan down for sleep?
I usually just relax. I am usually so exhausted by the time I put them down for the night, I am ready for bed, too!
Advice!
Don’t sweat the small, tough things. Mamahood is so hard but it goes by so, so fast. One day you will miss these days so much.
When things get hard I try to remember how thankful I am to have healthy, happy babies. I also think “This too shall pass” and try to take deep breaths. If you’re having a hard day, turn on your favorite song and dance! Sit outside by yourself and listen to all the sounds. Take a long, hot shower. Make a warm cup of coffee :) Go to sleep and remember that tomorrow is a new day and that you are amazing and doing the best that you can <3
