Since becoming parents, my husband and I have been waiting for the time where we could start bringing our daughter to one of our favorite places: the beach! Having a baby means you'll have to carry all the baby essentials in tow. Making a trip to the beach is no different. In fact, it adds even more to the everyday necessities!

Our family has made a hand full of trips since our daughter was born and I have compiled a top five list of our favorites to bring to the beach. Here they are!

Beach Tent 

Having a tent is one of our favorites! It provides shade for those hot Florida beach days as well as a space to play with our daughter. If baby gets tired, they can nap under this shady tent and be cool while still at the beach.

Sunscreen

Before we became parents, we wore sunscreen ~ but not as much as we do know! Since having our daughter we have realized just how precious our skin is and how important it is to protect our daughter’s skin, especially when she is outside. Our favorite baby sunscreen is the Tubby Todd Mineral Sunscreen that's 30 SPF. We do not leave the house without this in her diaper bag! 

Shady Hat

Back when our daughter would tolerate a hat (parents you know what I am talking about), this hat was amazing at covering our little one’s head, ears, and neck from that bright sun! The draw string component on this one makes it so nice to grow with baby.

Baby Floatie 

Any type of floatie is a perk when baby is in the water. They can float and lounge around while mom & dad don't have to hold baby the entire time. We love our Mambobaby float; it's secure and sturdy, so parents do not have to worry as much! It even has a protector over the release button so your baby or their siblings don't not try to press the button.

Beach Toys

The last and obvious favorite for baby when it comes to beach days are toys. Beach toys keep the little ones happy as well as being an activity for the whole family to enjoy. We love building sandcastles and teaching our sweet girl about the animals on her beach toys here in Florida!
