Meet one of our own, Sarah! She does the Paid Social Advertising for Parker Baby Co. and we love her to pieces! She has an almost two year old named Georgia and a doggy influencer, named Queso (@lifeofqueso đ¶). Sarah and her husband just moved to Prairie Village, KS from Chicago, IL.Â
Favorites?Â
Favorite mommy/maternity product:Â
Blanqi Maternity Leggings - The compression felt the most comfortable and kept my belly supported. I also loved the Boppy Pregnancy Pillow since it was smaller and didnât take up the entire bed!
Favorite baby product:Â
The Hatch Sound Machine. I love that you can control it remotely and we always play the birds chirping sound when Georgia is waking up. I also canât recommend Parker Baby Co.âs Bandana Bibs enough! Georgia has reflux and was constantly spitting up until almost a year, so these were life savers.Â
Favorite way to have a little âme-timeâ:Â
Morning workout class followed by coffee and the Today Show while getting ready for the day, a mani/pedi, or diet coke & popcorn while watching my guilty pleasure tv shows!
A couple more questions...
What activities are you most excited to do with your sweet baby this Spring?
I canât wait for so many walks and playing outside as much as possible! We just moved to Kansas City from Chicago and since we lived downtown Chicago, Georgia didnât have any outdoor space to truly run free. Although we enjoyed our stroller walks by the lake, I am especially excited to have our own dedicated space to kick around balls, ride scooters, and run around at the park down the street. I am also looking forward to exploring our new cityâs walking trails, farmerâs markets, and all of the outdoor activities that come back in the spring.
What is Georgia's nighttime routine?Â
Georgia has a nighttime routine that I am jealous of myself. She loves bathtime so much that she sometimes demands she take one even if she doesnât need it! She then âbrushesâ her teeth (aka eats the toothpaste), and cuddles with me while we read a book (in her Parker Baby Co. Hooded Towel of course)! She still loves her paci and sleep sack, so those two items are a MUST for a good nightâs sleep.
Describe some of your funniest moments in parenthood.Â
Some of the funniest moments have just been watching how Georgia reacts to certain situations. She has had a sassy personality since Day 1 with so many different facial expressions! Other funny moments definitely include her blow outs. They werenât that funny in the moment, but looking back I can certainly laugh at how sheâd always choose the most inconvenient place or time to have a blow out (airplanes, restaurants, in the car with no change of clothes.)⊠itâs like she knew!
Advice
The best advice I ever received was âyouâre the best mom for your babyâ. Itâs great to have support and listen to tips from friends and family, but whatever decision you make is what is best for you and your family!
