I've been working for Parker Baby Co. long before planning to start my own family. It has been amazing to help in every stage of a product from idea conception, design, sampling, production to marketing and now I can finally be an end-user!
For a little fun, check out my first blog post here from my very first full day at The Good Baby almost 3 years ago!
My husband and I are expecting our first child in December and with Covid-19, I have felt the need to be overly prepared early, especially when it comes to ordering or purchasing things we will need those early days. See Sam's Holiday Shopping 2020: What to Expect blog post if you also want to be scared into ordering all your Christmas presents in September 🤪
It definitely didn't take me long to create my Parker Baby Co. "Must-Have" list for preparing for baby. This is pretty much every product... so I decided to pick my top 5 and explain why I don't want to be without when we bring our sweet baby girl home.
This one is a little bit of a cheat, because I really want at least one Felt Diaper Caddy and two Rope Diaper Caddies. Our home has lots of stairs, so, I know we will want to keep diaper changing essentials in our bedroom, living room and car at a minimum and these are perfect to keep them organized, accessible & contained in a pretty way.
Infant Hooded Towel
Dare I say my absolute FAVORITE Parker Baby Co. product? Literally, SO luxurious and cozy and I cannot wait to snuggle up my little peanut in this towel after bath time. I don't think other baby towels on the market even come close to comparing with the the quality of this one.
Six layers of soft, natural, muslin cotton - these are absolutely perfect - and so necessary. I love that they get softer every wash while I feel other washcloth materials can get rough. These will be restocking very soon!
Birch Bag Mini
I've had a lot of time to consider if the original Birch Bag or Mini was right for us - and if anyone knows the comparisons, I do. I ultimately decided with one baby (and likely minimal trips out of the house) the Mini is perfect. I like to think I can be a minimalist, but then again - babies need a lot of things... so we'll see!
Another cheat here, because I really want the Desert, Copper and Cherry Covers (:) RE: minimalism). I like that these can be used in multiple ways cutting down on products to be hauled around and the biggest bonus in the world we live in today - it will keep any hands and faces from peeking in at baby girl when out and about in her car seat.
I also need every hair accessory 😉 and we have some awesome new Burp Cloths (insider info here!) in the works so I'm crossing my fingers they are available by December 9!
What are your newborn "must-haves" from Parker Baby Co.?
