Our sweet, smiley and sometimes feisty Frankie turned 12 week yesterday. That means we are out of the "4th trimester" and she should be better adjusted and we should have things figured out and be sleeping more (funny!). While I was pregnant I wrote a 5 Must-Haves blog post. Now, after a few months with our little babe, I'm ready to share what we really used those early days.
We are thrilled to be sharing Jessica, our very own Marketing Director for Parker Baby Co. as the October Mama Feature! Jessica and her husband Jack live in Parker, CO and are expecting their first sweet baby (a girl, yay!) in December. We are so grateful Jessica is a part of our team and we are excited for everyone to get to know her a little bit more.
I've been working for Parker Baby Co. long before planning to start my own family. It has been incredible to help in every stage of a product development and now I can finally be an end-user! It didn't take me long to create my Parker Baby Co. "Must-Have" list for preparing for baby. This is pretty much every product we have, so I decided to pick my top 5 and explain why I don't want to be without when we bring our sweet baby girl home.
When we gave birth to my son, the hospital had a cute photographer that would come around and take newborn photos. Obviously, with all of the Covid-19 precautions this was not going to happen. I decided to reach out to our girl Gracie (who does all the Parker Baby Co. photoshoots) and asked if she was comfortable taking newborn and family photos in our home. Thankfully she said yes!
There is a lot of uncertainty that comes with pregnancy. When will I go into labor? Will my baby be healthy? What is my new life with baby going to look like?
I am currently on my third pregnancy and can tell you that these apprehensions are still relevant. One certainty I can count on myself adhering to is creating a warm and loving place for my new baby to come home to.
